“Fort Polk swimming pools purchased two Watercannon 3’s from Living Waters Aeration for our 50M pools. I would like to express how pleased I am with the purchase. The Watercannons far exceeded my expectations. Listed, are the positive points I have noted.

  • Within 24 hours, the pool temperature dropped from 94 degrees to 84 degrees. If the cannon is left on overnight, the temperature dropped to 81 degrees. With Louisiana summers and a heat category 5, this made the summer swimming a much more enjoyable experience.
  • Youth services had to stop bringing children to the pools due to daily heat category 5. After using the Watercannons in both pools, a safety inspection found cooler water temperatures, and allowed the kids to resume swimming.
  • Preventative Medicine conducts weekly inspections of our pools. They were elated with the water temperature drop. With cooler water temperatures, it is less likely for bacteria to grow. Samples of water are taken from the pools, since using the cannons; no abnormal colonies have been detected.
  • The lifeguard staff, as well as patrons, enjoy the cool mist they receive from the cannon. It is such a relief from the summer heat.
  • Chlorine levels are easier to maintain due to the cooler water temperatures.
  • Stationary lap swimming has been implemented. The cannon is pointed directly into the water while the swimmer swims into the stream. Due to the force of the stream, the swimmer’s held stationary.
  • The regular lap swimmers are elated over the cooler temperatures. Lap swimming is a much more enjoyable experience with cooler water.
